The advantages of a central production and administration location have been proven over decades of development at ARBURG. Not only can the entire development and production chain work hand-in-hand, utilising synergies, the quality of suppliers and of in-house production can be monitored in detail. The high share of in-house production, sound in-house vocational and further training, state-of-the-art production and environmental technology subject to ongoing investment, a high degree of IT integration and efficient order processing – all these speak in favour of the headquarters at the parent plant at Lossburg, Northern Black Forest in the south-west of Germany.

Development, administration and production at Lossburg are housed centrally within a covered floorspace of around 146,000 square meters. The modern building complex is conceived according to the latest technological and physiological considerations so that optimum working processes are ensued. Around 1,680 employees (the ARBURG Group employs approx. 2,000) are not least of all motivated at work because the production processes are transparent and logically structured, and the teamwork allows scope for individual ideas.

All the corporate divisions as well as the ARBURG subsidiaries are integrated in a central information and communications system. Advanced technologies enable rapid and efficient data transfer between over one thousand computer workstations as well as access to all the necessary data for performing order processing smoothly and to always keep up-to-date with the relevant production status of the orders. With approx. 800,000 transactions per day, the average response time is under one second.
