In 1992, ARBURG opened a wholly-owned subsidiary employing a team of ten at Michalowice in the direct vicinity of Warsaw. This enabled the company to share in the sustained economic growth of its geographical neighbour and establish a good starting position on its injection moulding market. Like the other subsidiaries, the role of the national technology centre is to act as a partner for plastics processors by providing sales, technology, training and comprehensive customer support.
