Since 1993, ARBURG has been running its own sales and support activities in Thailand from Bangkok. The representative office based there was converted into a subsidiary in 2001 and the services it offers now include application engineering support and spare parts. The founding of this subsidiary also acknowledges the fact that those countries in Asia on the verge of economic success are of major strategic and economic importance for the entire region and that many plastics processing companies are active in this area.
