| Technical seminar |  |
ARBURG Ltd, along with Günther UK, Waldorf Technik and Contura organised a technical seminar in the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin. The venue was chosen to provide both a focal point for the technical papers from each company and as a venue of interest to all attending delegates. The collective objective behind the event was to hold a seminar in Ireland to offer new development’s and to underline support for the Irish plastics industry. |

In recognition of their life’s work and their outstanding services to the plastics industry, the American Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) has awarded the Business Management Award for 2007 to the two ARBURG Managing Partners Eugen and Karl Hehl. The prize-giving took place on 6 May during an evening reception, at the Millennium Hotel in Cincinnati/Ohio, which was held on the occasion of the SPE Annual Technical Conference (ANTEC). |

| Official ground-breaking ceremony for new ARBURG Customer Centre |  |
On 28 March 2007, the official ground-breaking ceremony for the new ARBURG Customer Centre was held in Lossburg. At the heart of the new building will be a show room, which offers sufficient space to house the entire machine series. “With this new building, we confirm our strong commitment to Lossburg as our sole production location,” said Michael Hehl, Managing Partner and Spokesperson for the ARBURG Management Team in his welcoming speech. |

| MULTILIFT robot demonstration cell at ARBURG Ltd. |  |
ARBURG Ltd have installed a ARBURG ALLROUNDER 420C 1000 350 machine equipped with a ARBURG MULTILIFT 'H' (horizontal) robot system in Warwick. The 100ton machine is from the 'C' range and was selected due to its continued popularity in the marketplace and because it compliments the machine line up in the two demonstration rooms. The machine will be used for customer demonstrations and to allow training on the ARBURG MULTILIFT robot systems. Technicians can also gain valuable experience with the machine's SELOGICA control by programming the MULTILIFT robot through the SELOGICA system. |

| New ALLROUNDER 720 S GOLDEN EDITION |  |
As a surprise, ARBURG presented the new ALLROUNDER 720 S GOLDEN EDITION at the Fakuma 2006, which completes the successful line. The new machine offers a distance of 720 x 720 millimetres between tie bars, a clamping force of 3,000 kN and a 1,300 injection unit size. Maximum shot weights of 826 grams of polystyrene can therefore be achieved. |
| New 500 tonne ALLROUNDER |  |
At the Fakuma 2006, the new large ALLROUNDER 920 S celebrated its premiere. This machine with a clamping force of 5,000 kN and a distance of 920 x 920 mm between tie bars represents an important increase in the performance of the S series and therefore of the entire ARBURG machine range. |
