Should a customer prefer to have a machine component repaired rather than replaced – possible for the entire hardware sector from the control system right through to the cylinder module – simply send it to the ARBURG service department for spare parts. Our experts will ascertain whether a repair is feasible or not and from where a corresponding quotation can be issued. The customer can then decide whether a repair is worthwhile or if replacement of the component represents the better alternative.

Machine downtime, problems and inconvenience can be avoided if customers opt for ARBURG's preventive service. Customers can order the necessary spare parts before scheduled machine maintenance operations are due. Fixed dates on which a technician should visit the plant to carry out any maintenance work on machines and replace any necessary worn parts is also defined in a service agreement.
